You’ve been holding everything together.
You don’t have to keep doing it alone.
Affordable online & in-person therapy for adults navigating burnout, anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, boundaries, and self-worth across Ontario.
Maybe you’re here because…
You’re functioning, but you’re exhausted.
You’re the person others rely on, yet you’re quietly wondering how much longer you can keep doing everything.
Maybe you:
Have trouble saying no, even when you desperately want to.
Feel guilty when you prioritize your own needs.
Spend a lot of time worrying, overthinking, or trying to get things “right.”
Hold yourself to standards you would never expect from someone else.
Feel burned out but can’t seem to slow down.
Find yourself constantly taking care of everyone else.
Feel disconnected from who you are underneath your roles and responsibilities.
Know something needs to change, but aren't sure where to start.
If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not failing. You may simply be carrying more than you were meant to carry alone.
Therapy can give you space to understand the patterns that keep you stuck, develop healthier boundaries, reconnect with yourself, and create a life that feels more sustainable - not just one that looks like you’re managing.
About Me
Hi, I'm Alison.
Maybe you're someone who is used to being the capable one.
The one who remembers the appointments, checks in on everyone else, gets things done, keeps the peace, and somehow manages to keep going even when you're running on empty.
I understand how easy it can be to become so focused on meeting everyone's needs that you lose touch with your own.
I'm a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), and I believe therapy should be a space where you don't have to perform, have the right answers, or hold everything together.
I'm Kingston-born and raised, a mom, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and someone who knows firsthand that life can be beautifully chaotic. Between parenting, coaching competitive swimming, working in mental health, and caring for our family and backyard chickens, there is rarely a dull moment in my own life either.
I've also learned that being able to keep going isn't the same thing as being okay.
Sometimes we need quiet. Sometimes we need support. Sometimes we need someone outside our lives who can help us slow down and understand what is happening underneath the surface.
That's what I hope to offer my clients: a warm, collaborative space where you can be honest about the messy, difficult, hopeful, and complicated parts of life.
You don't have to figure everything out before you reach out.
Feeling overwhelmed? Start here.
When your thoughts won't slow down, your body feels tense, or everything simply feels like too much, it can be difficult to know what to do next.
I've created this free Grounding Toolkit to give you a few simple practices you can try when you need a moment to slow down and reconnect with the present.
Inside you'll find:
5 simple grounding techniques
Breathing and sensory exercises
Reflection prompts
Gentle ways to create a little more space when you're feeling overwhelmed
These aren't about doing everything perfectly.
They're small tools you can return to when you need them.
